Marvell Should Make a Super Hero Out of This Tape

I use this extensively at work on steel within harsh conditions indoors and outdoors. On a side note, I used this tape to hold my front license plate onto my car with close to 40,000 miles and numerous trips to the automated car wash and it's still working great.

Tape i trust completely!

I first discovered 3m VHB tape as the stuff you mount Gopro cameras with. Later, i needed something to mount an aftermarket voltage regulator to my motorcycle. The new one didn't fit on the old mountings, so i thought 'why not try VHB tape?' And it was a great choice. Despite hot/cold cycling, it just holds. I am amazed that a few centimeters of tape can have such extremely high adhesion. It is surprisingly resistant to 'peel off' types of load. This tape does everything that glue can do, but in a more convenient way. It is pricey (at least at my local retailer) but it is so strong that you only need a small amount of it for the job, and it is genuinely good stuff so even if it's more expensive - it's worth it. Two words of caution: religiously follow the advice for cleaning the surface you're sticking it on, and once it's stuck, it takes a lot of effort to remove it (although it is possible).
