One comment says it doesn't have the cloth backing, you bought the wrong tape. I buy this for electricians in a refinery to label panels and devices during installations. The different colors represent different panels that the cables go to because we have so many systems and don't want the cables crossed to what panel they go to. Although they should be taken off at the end of the job I sometimes see this tape still up 4 years later. Tears easy, sharpie marker doesn't smear on it and a year later it will peel off clean. Can use them on plastic bin's, cabinet doors or anything that needs labeled without the fear of leaving a stick residue.
