I painted white (fishing) jigheads. I put three coats of each color. The first coat was too heavy so it dripped. Subsequent coats were thinner. But it left a nice, clear colors with a decent glow in the dark. None of nasty solvent smell with normal polishes. It also took on glitter and clear overcoats. Bottles are small but that works for me. Seems worthy of a 5 star to me. I do not know why it would not work on nails, especially for smaller hoomans.
