ZEN .....except for the initial varnish smell.
Its a beautiful piece , well made, and easy to put together- me and my teen daughters put it together and we never put together anything before! the lack of one star is due to the fact that as soon as I opened the package the stench from the varnish was present....it's still present, but its been a day only. I am guessing it will take a month to dissapate....but its a great buy for me- I even scotch guarded it for extra protection since I have a puppy and sweaty guests ( I live in the tropics)- so I can just launder it clean. It's so zen looking and everyone loves it. It's not comfy as in cushy comfy but good enough--only bad thing again is the varnish smell, but I can't complain, I feel bad for the people who have to endure this stench as part of their jobs- assembling or processing cheap furniture for export.
