The material used is heavy duty...much better quality than what the blinds originally came with. In fact, they dont tangle as easy as the original cord either .

It is what it is

Discord was exactly what I expected. When we tied knots in it, they stayed tight and did not unravel. We were able to string it through some blinds to make repairs. Because it was slightly larger than the original blind cord, The blinds do not operate with perfect smoothness. This cord worked with perfect adequately.
