Midwest Fasteners are garbage

The metal is soft, you would have an easier time driving a stick of butter. With pilot hole drilled and counter sunk it took on average 4-5 screws to get ONE to sink. If the screw meets even the slightest resistance it will strip, or break. After over 20 years of career woodworking I have discovered if its Midwest Fastener, stay away. If you are considering purchasing. Here's my thought. Bore some really ugly holes in your work, punch a hole in your wood shop wall, then throw your drill down the driveway. Then go get some decent screws, and you will have a least saved yourself $5.
