Feit Electric 6.5W (60W Equivalent) G30 E26 Color Change Spiral Filament Vintage Deco Smart LED

In my lifetime, I have been through many different changes and types of light bulbs. But basically they were for the most part, kept beneath a lampshade. But that all began to change when the new bulbs emerged. Ones that lasted far longer than the older versions, and used far less energy, and with the new look of 'Edison' design bulbs, keeping them hidden was to hide their beauty. Very few lampshades remain in my house, replaced by lamps that showcase the new light bulbs. And if that wasn't amazing enough, there came 'smart bulbs' on the scene. Bulbs that could change brightness, colors, and be controlled to turn on and off if scheduled. which brings me to why I selected the Feit Spiral Filament LED Smart Bulb. At 6.5 watts, it is equal to a 60 watt light giving off 300 lumens. Also, unlike a regular older bulb, the Feit bulb has an average rated life of 15,000 hours/ 3 years. It is also 100% Mercury free. To set the bulb up, I downloaded the Feit app onto my cell phone. The phone app discovered the bulb within a matter of seconds and I was able to change the color, try the special effects, such as dimming, strobe effect, solid strobe, and fade effect. There are so many things that I can do with this smart light bulb that it is amazing. Within five minutes, the smart light was linked up with Alexa and Google Home. I set a schedule for the light to turn on at dusk and turn off when I tell it to. It is a very smart bulb and I am sold on Feit for future lighting needs.
