The black marine band antenna is a center-fed VHF that uses a 1/2-wave coaxial sleeve to broadcast and receive at 3dB. Its sturdy construction means maximum utility and an unobtrusive size. This 4' VHF marine antenna also features a heavy-duty radome that maximizes efficiency, along with genuine brass and copper elements that maximize range. With its stainless steel ferrule and standard 1-1/4" thread, the device is very easy to install. Each 5401-XT Shakespeare VHF Antenna comes complete with a PL-259 connector and a 20' RG-8/X cable.
