I have always been healthy but it seemed as if once I turned forty, my check engine light came on with a vengeance. The first thing that happened was a surprise gall bladder removal but I handled that like a champ. The second thing came at me like a freight train. Cancer... I had experienced family members with cancer but they were all older. I was only in my early forties so how could this possibly happen. Plus, this was breast cancer.
