Broan-Nutone BK105 Chime Only, 2-Note & 1-Note

Almost all the reviews on this item are negative and related to quality. This is not a fair take AT ALL. Please allow me to give some perspective for anyone considering this item. I work for a locally owned electrical distribution company in the Omaha, NE area. Since 2010 we have sold approximately 1,200 of these units (as of Dec 2022), and in all that time only 7 of them have been reported as defective. Keep in mind we are a very small company compared to many around the nation who sell this same item. Only 14 (at time of review) people have reviewed this item on NuTone's website and rated it poorly for quality. When you consider that a door bell is a background type of item which, if working properly, you don't think about at all, it makes sense that virtually no one thinks to log on to NuTone's website and give it a good review. On the other hand, if an item happens to go bad people get understandably angry and want to make their frustrations known. So, you end up with a tiny handful of negative reviews and no positive reviews on what is actually a quite good and dependable product. Just some food for thought. This is actually a very good item for the price. Don't let the miniscule amount of angry reviewers skew your perspective!
