RevMark Carpenter Pencils Neon Green w/ Printed Ruler (24-pack) ... Two dozen pencils in a ziplock baggie. They measure 6-29/32” total length. They have a ruler printed on one side, so be sure to begin sharpening the pencil at the opposite end of the zero marking. The ruler is defined in both 1/16 inches and in millimeters. The ruler is accurate, but doesn't always start from the butt end of the pencil. They are neon green, so they could be hard to find if dropped in the grass. But with 24 pencils, there are enough to go around for a while. I sharpened the first one with my pocket knife. The wood is not too hard and not too soft, and sharpened fairly well. The pencil graphite is also not too hard and not too soft, and is fairly easy to write with. Overall these are very nice pencils to work with.

My husband has used carpenter pencils of all kinds for decades. He was very pleased with these pencils. I admit I was skeptical about the accuracy of the ruler printed on the pencils so I measured it against 2 other rulers and it was right on the money. So the ruler could come in real handy for a quick measurement. The pencil drew a dark, easy to see line. I think, however, in a pack of 24 pencils there should have been a sharpener included- that would have been nice.
