Works really well for Bearded Dragons
I know that this is for hampster, gerbils and guinea pigs but honestly, it really works well for bearded dragons. The wire on top is large enough to hold the long UVB light that bearded dragons need (I am temporarily using a small one as my large one broke) and a basking light. The levels are wide enough for bearded dragons to not only walk on but turn around on without slipping. Each level also allows for bearded dragons to have hot, warm and cool spots. It is a bit larger then a standard 40 gallon take and has more room in it. I am not done decorating PomPom's (my son named him. No idea where he got the name from) habitat. However, once fully decorated PomPom will still have lots of room to move about without climbing on or over things. Lots of room.
Great Starter Cage
This cage is such a great starter cage for gerbils. We didn't want one of those cheap wire cages that bend or warp to wear they could escape or where little fingers or kitty paws could get in. This is such a pretty grey and is made of real wood. My husband assembled it and it seems that it was quite easy for him to assemble. We haven't used it yet as my sons birthday is next week and he has no idea he is getting gerbils yet. I was able to put a good amount of bedding in and I like how it has more than one access point for observing and handling. The wire on top is definite strong enough to withhold a cat and keep them out. Overall, I am very pleased with this cage.
Really roomy and cute solid cage
This arrived in 3 days instead of the estimated 1-2 weeks. Light and very easy to assemble. It's huge, but I have a syrian hamster and they require this kind of room and lots of bedding. It comes with tons of floors and accessories and is extremely roomy and safe. It also looks really nice as opposed to a detolf or bin cage which can look bulky.
