The rug is beautiful. In person it looks exactly like it does in the picture. I ordered both the rug and rug pad, which I am glad that I did because I think the rug would have slid around on the floor otherwise. Great rug
This rug is perfect for my basement. It would be great for kids rooms too. I needed some color. I did put a leg of furniture on one end to get it to flatten. I have had no problem with it shedding. The kids love it. Soft enough. I do have a small rubber mat under it to help it last longer and not slip.
