Cool Gel 9" Gel Memory Foam Mattress, Queen

I ordered this mattress, THINKING queen size is a queen size NOT so. Ordered it thinking it would go for our sofa bed. OH you all should have been here, we had such a GREAT laugh we was rolling. BUT all in all it was a great purchase because we put it on top of our very expensive ($2000.00) mattress This mattress is about an inch larger than our queen. And that is OK. you can't tell it after the sheet is on and bed is made. We have our comfort and look we want, and we are so very satisfied. We love our platform frame we also bought from Wal~Mart, NOW we have our HIGH RISE BED(aka a rice bed) that we truly love. top of mattress now is 30" off the floor. No more back aches, or hips hurting with this mattress, Should have brought from Wal~Mart in the first place instead of the well known mattress store. Better comfort. We did go back on line and order the correct mattress for our sofa bed, just received it last night. SO when it is time for that review I will let you know. Our daughter has had a princess tent bed for a few years now. It has the bunk bed bars on the top, for the bed. We bought her a 6 inch mattress for it. This was a mistake. We then bought a board to put under the mattress. The older kids complained about how uncomfortable that was. So, we got this in the mail last week. I am very pregnant and could not lift the box. My husband did lift it and said it was not that bad, compared to our 12 inch queen, when it came in. The box is shorter than our 5 year old daughter. You just take the mattress out of the box, cut the bag that holds the mattress in the round position and then put it on the bed. After this we then cut the second bag off the mattress and let it fluff. There is a smell from the mattress. It went away after the first day of fluffing up. The mattress immediately fluffed to 9/10th of the size it was going to be. We put it on top of her old mattress to give her more comfort. You could see right away the difference. Her old mattress looks to be about 3 inches and this one looks 3 times the size. Our goober got to sleep in our room while it was fluffing. On Sunday, the 3rd day, I put the sheets and blanket on the bed. Me and my goober laid on her bed to watch a movie. It felt incredibly cool. My biggest complaint about our memory foam mattress is how it makes me sweat, especially being pregnant. I did not want to get out of her bed. It was so comfortable, and very cool. My big belly sunk in the bed and I did not want to get out. I wish this was the mattress we would have originally bought for her bed. I would have stayed in her room more often for movies. This is a very nice mattress. I do recommend this, even for big pregnant women. It truly keeps you cool with all of the vent holes. It pops right back into place even after the pregnant woman gets off the mattress. This is a very good buy! I recommend anyone living in a hot climate, like Florida, who wants a memory foam mattress, to look into this brand. Comfort and cool, this is exactly what we wanted.
