installation notes: Your tailgate handle has 3 mounting bolts. (2006 silverado) If you have a plastic tailgate liner, you kight have to remove all 3 bolts, and the liner , to access the center bully lock mounting bolt first. Becase the liner covers the center bolt, then repoosition the liner and re-install the 2 outside bolts. Not a big deal. This is the second truck that I put the bully lock on, it works well. Also, i used some epoxy glue on the plastic bezel snap hooks because the bezel tends to fall off. Others have commented on this.
