The AmScope 40X-1000X Dual Light All-Metal Optical Glass lens Student Compound Microscope with Batteries and Slide Set is a dual illumination multi-power compound microscope that is designed for students to explore the micro world. It has a LED transmitted (bottom) and reflected (top) illumination system and a backward nosepiece that allocates spacious operating room for users. Offering five magnifications, 40X, 100X, 250X, 400X, 1000X, the microscope has optical glass lenses, sturdy metal framework, backward nosepiece, 360 degree rotatable monocular head, dual side focusing, and the dual LED illumination system with top & bottom lights that use either an outlet (adapter included) or two AA batteries (included). It can view transparent biological slides, as well as opaque objects like stamps and coins. The shipping package includes a slide set of five prepared and five blank. This microscope is portable for both home use and on-site field use, powered by two AA batteries (included) in addition to the AC power (power adapter included).
