Much more powerful than the Surface

This is an amazing machine. Its powerful, sleek, and can do everything I ask it to. I am a software engineer and do heavy data science work on the go. I'm also a CS student getting my masters, so I'm working on lots of heavy computing projects. I game on it, and it works amazing for that too, does not get hot and the fans are really quiet. I have 1 minor complaint, and 1 major one. Minor: Battery life is not the greatest, I get about 3-3.5 hours unplugged while gaming/programming on high performance. My surface pro wasn't very good either, though.. Major: At the time of writing, no one manufactures hard cases for it yet! I had a beefy case for my surface pro that would ensure it would be fine if I dropped it. I dont have the option on this one, so I purchased the accidental damage protection for 3 yrs just in case. I wish ASUS would sell a hard shell case to wrap it in.
