I won't use anything else except Iams. A long time ago, I purchased a cheaper brand, I don't remember what kind, but my cats seem to be getting sick more often. They just didn't seem healthy and quite a few Vet visits were made around that time. I figured out what changed and switched back to Iams. It's not the cheapest bag of cat food out there, but it will save you when you add in the cost of a veterinarian visit by using the cheaper stuff. Highly recommended Iams for a healthy, happy cat.

My indoor/outdoor adult male looks just like the kitty on the bag. Not why I buy it, however. It's hard to keep weight on him and he's a tad picky. But he eats this pretty well. My older guy loves it, too, but he has to each special food. have to do food patrol to keep him out!

Iams dry cat food
Have been getting this for our 2 cats for several years. They seem to like it and we have not had any health issues. Minimal issue with hairballs, seems to keep their coats soft and healthy looking. We have tried the salmon flavor, but the chicken definitely won!
