Warm and comfy

I am still breaking these in but they don't seem to need it. Very comfortable right out of the box. I plan to use these for snowmobiling and hiking in Colorado this Feb. They seem like they will be warm and dry. I'll use them for cold weather hiking and hunting.

Bought the Moab 2 Timber 8” Thermo Waterproof boots a few weeks ago and wore them around the house a bit to break in (not much break in needed at all). Took them out hunting this past Saturday for the first time in 17° weather with a 0° windchill. I was very pleased with the warmth and waterproofing of these boots while walking in the snow and sitting for long periods of time. Feet stayed dry and as warm as can be expected in such cold. They do fit a bit wider than other boots I've worn, which is perfect for wearing heavy socks. I already recommended them to two of the other guys who were out hunting with me.

These boots are fantastic!

These Merrel insulated boots are awesome. I am 73 years old and during really cold weather, 20 degree days with 20 + mph wind, and my feet were toasty warm. I had to put cushioned inserts in for a perfect fit as I have a very narrow foot.
