The White City 1893 World's Fair

This excellent documentary on the World's Fair held in Jackson Park in Chicago's south side offers an in-depth look at the fair and also of Americana before the turn of the century. If you are a history buff and like Chicago like I do, then this 2-part video offers treats for you and the entire family. If you haven't been to Chicago it would be worth the time to drive down the old Midway street, go thru the Museum of Science and Industry, and perhaps take a walk in Jackson Park to see the permanent change the fair made on the landscape and try to visualize the scope and size of the fair.
