Glucosamine Sulphate is the basic molecule of the joint structure. It contains an amino acid which is an essential component of the building block which gives structure to the bones, skin and hair. Glucosamine also stimulates the production of glycosaminoglycans and proteoglycans, two of the components of cartilage. The natural production of glucosamine fades with injury or aging. Supplementation with glucosamine can help replace the deficit and restore the correct glucosamine balance in the joint. Chondroitin Sulphate is concentrated in joint cartilage and is necessary for cartilage metabolism, maintenance and regeneration. It is an essential component to ensure joint flexibility and resistance to compression.
