Good Cook 9 Inch Ceramic Pie Plate, Red

My new favorite deep dish pie plate! Picture showed red outside and white interior but mine that arrived was all white which was fine because color sort of goes with some all white cookware I already use. Bought this to make my Tourtiere look a bit nicer because was for sharing with friends at Christmas and because my recipe has 3 lbs. or so of assorted meats and needs a deep dish. Couldn't find my deep dish pie plate and was fortunate stumbled on this while doing other shopping. Very happy with this dish! Probably should have bought two and may get another one if still available? Has some weight to it. Looks well made and performs quite well. Nice design. Simple but still elegant. Zero complaints. Particularly in all white, should fit nicely with most any table setting regardless of colors or design. Is probably better it showed up all white and not red in my case but don't be surprised if yours is not red when arrives because read in comments has happened to others too. Any slight disappointment went away after baked that first pie that's for sure. This dish helped me make a perfect pie and that's what mattered to me most. Would order again and fine with if they substitute a neutral white again because it performs and looks great. Can give your pie country charm or an elegant flair. Yes, I could have used 2 regular pie plates but that is not nearly as impressive looking at presentation time when you cut them those deep thick beautiful pieces of meat pie inches high defying gravity and they ooh and ah. This dish worked nicely! Pie came out perfectly inside and out. Crust cooked great on top and most importantly on the bottom too. Dish looks good any occasion and fits right in on a holiday table much nicer than just a plain glass or metal pie dish. It makes a substantial sized pie. Great for family or other gatherings. Came clean handwashing easily. It helped elevate the look of the pie I brought to share. Good gift for any bakers you know. Was a super deal for great pie dish. Do recommend. In fact, suggest buying spares so can let host keep the dish perhaps and wish I had thought of that before writing this comment. They said they'd rather I had the dishes back so I can fill them up with something yummy again lol Can't wait to try a mile high apple pie and a deep dish chocolate silk pie in this dish! Makes a beautiful big pie but wasn't thinking about getting the dish in the shot when took photo. Sorry, but trust me, it made the whole look of the pie even nicer :)
