These are very comfortable. At the same time, they are trim and understated. No big white sneakers for me . Used in France, Israel, and northeast Georgia. Even better - no laces to tie. Slip on fast.

Good fit and great for walking

This shoe fits the bill for my daily walks (2-3 miles) and also looks good with jeans, yoga pants, and Capri's for casual wear. I like that I don't have to lace them up and they are all black so they don't stand out as athletic shoes. More important is the fit. I like the breathable and mildly stretchy fabric. The cushioning is sufficient for my needs. I don't know how long they will last as I've only had them for three weeks. My other Sketcher's (similar) lasted a year in the cushion area but still look good. If you don't do daily walks of 2-3 miles these should last longer.
