I have bought so many mirrors over the years even though I have mirrored closets, huge wall mirror over my vanity with lights, tons of the ones that are in a little stand thar flip over from either a refuse view to a more up close view and a light up con air one that screws into the wall and has an arm so it can swivel out to use abs back to be out of the way *very expensive* - and one very similar to this because I needed one more close up while at my vanity to see more details when doing my makeup like eye art, concealer, brows and a cpl years ago I got one that looks exactly like this as far as the stand (just all white) but rotates exactly the same. What stands out and is different about this one - 1. it not only takes batteries like the other I have BUT ALSO has a USB charging port and comes w the charge cable. It's rose gold and marble (might matter to some if they want it to match their decor exactly) - For me it's fine. Even though white matched more and nothing is really rose gold in my room, I do have a lot of marble but honestly, it doesn't matter cuz this mirror IS AMAZING for the next 2 differences im going to mention - 2. THE LIGHT is AMAZING. I think the ENTIRE panel behind the mirror is the light source because there's a tiny little scratch by the power button you touch to turn on/off and dim lower or brighter. That button also lights up and it's not circles around the edge that lights up - its a consistent border all the way around the mirror and did I mention HOW BRIGHT this mirror is? I have light fixtures on the wall on both sides of the mirror w those huge clear globe bulbs thar really do give off GREAT light for doing makeup and this light even makes a difference whereas the other one really didn't do I never used it for that. The Con Air ones light IS REALLY BAD and tips mirror goes for CLOSE TO $100 and even more depending where you get it. The only flaw I saw in it was that little scratch but for me, it just gives it that imperfect character my scars give me. The other thing that sets it apart is the 3 diff magnification mirrors on the left door side. I searched the magnification my con air had that was the only one magnified enough and it was 8x - most mirrors are only 3 or 5 - this had a it does also have a 10 x one. It also has a little built in tray on the stand like my other. i love this mirror so much
This really is the best you can get for this price. It's amazing. And on clearance :) Wish I could get a cpl more for backup if anything happens to this one in any way before it's gone.
