JoyJolt Glass Water Bottle with Silicone Sleeve & Carry Strap 20 oz - Black

I got this because I wanted a somewhat wider mouthed glass bottle that would be easier to clean. I wanted glass because it's better in several ways and this delivers well. It's pretty thick, so probably hard to break (I will not be testing this) and has a wide enough mouth that it's easier to get stuff in to clean — that's always tricky with containers for drinking. The silicone material around it could be thicker, but it's solid instead of having holes in it like most do. This also helps it keep a little better by acting as a more solid insulator (in addition to the glass itself.) It seems to be a soft enough silicone that it gives a really good grip too. Most of my drinks keep pretty well, though obviously this will not compare to a thermos. The lid is plastic with wood around it and metal bit in the top (I guess to give it more insulation?) but it has a good fit and comes with a proper gasket to get it air and water tight. The folding handle is a nice little bonus. It was a good idea to make it fold in like that. Other colors were not available when I needed one, so I got the purple. Being picky is for those with more time and money. Purple is not really a preferred color of mine, but it's not as extreme as I thought it would be. It looks kind of almost more blue than purple and I don't mind it at all. There isn't much room for improvement on this. A thicker silicone material is all I can think of. Otherwise it's an excellent design.

I bought this water bottle to stop using throw away plastic bottles. This is the perfect solution. Glass bottles with stainless steel in the lid keeps the water tasting good. The sleeve protects the glass bottle and looks good.
