I am 5'2, 58 years old, the boots hit me exactly were I wanted mid way up my calf....perfect for leggings and skinny jeans. They are sturdy, not too high. They fit true to size, after reading the reviews I went with a 7 1/2 my typical shoe size. I do not have a problem slipping them on and off but if you have larger ankles and/or calves it would most likely be difficult. Beautiful boots, ended up ordering in black also!
