Microwave: 1. Mix 1/4 cup Cream of Rice®, 1 cup cold tap water and a dash of salt (optional) in a 2-cup microwaveable bowl. 2. Cook on high (100% power) for 1 minute. Stir. Cook 1 to 2 minutes* more, stirring well every 30 seconds, until cereal is thick and smooth. Stir for 1 minute before serving. *Because of differences in microwave ovens, cooking times may vary. Caution: Use care when removing from microwave. Bowl may be hot.
