Light doesn't work

Fan and music work but the light isn't turning on. Set up wasn't at all difficult - but we really wish the light would turn on. Music gets loud. So hopefully we can get the light to work because I would really love to listen to my murder shows while showering.

You need to be an IT tech to set this up.

First I'll say, this fan is nice and what I wanted. However, the instructions absolutely suck!!! First it just tells you to download the voice control app. Nowhere on the box or instructions does it tell you what the app is even called. But once you get that figured out the real headache begins. Connecting to internet. This product ONLY supports 2.4ghz internet. So if you upgraded to 5 g as we did, you will have to learn to log into your router and turn on the 2.4 ghz band. (Most new routers are dual band we learned.) But your headache still isn't over. Because it takes an act of God to actually connect this to alexa. It tells you to set it up through the mystery app I mentioned earlier, and then through the alexa app. Again, all wrong! The set up is done through the mystery app.
