I have a river birch that is suffering from iron cirrosis. I added a bag of soil sulfur in the drip line, water it well, and bingo. It's is looking much better.

I purchased this item with the hopes it could quickly turn the soil from an alkaline state to more acidic but it takes a great deal of time for a product to do that so I am returning this item because I don't have time to sit and wait for the chemicals to create the change.
