Great lantern, No problem with the globe fitting as seen in other reviews. You just have to know how to install the lid and the globe fits snug. When looking at the lid upside down there is metal piece that runs across the lid, you simply bend the metal inward or towards itself slightly and it supports the glass. Then screw the lid on and it fits like a glove and the glass globe Does Not shake move or rattle. Hope this helps. We always use coleman lanterns they are great for the price, versatility and quality.
