ASUS ROG Top of the Line!! Highly Recommended!!!

I was upgrading my partners desktop, and laptop, also Asus, I had several criteria to fulfill. 1. Silent: This machine is silent! We are using this is an office setting, and 10 hours a day listening to a fan is no fun. 2. Latest chip set:13th Gen Intel 10-Cores i5-13400F, this is very fast for our purpose, she does not game on this system but having a responsive workstation with this capacity is a bonus. 3. Storage: 2 TB SSD, and 2TB Hard drive this fills the bill. 4. RAM: We went with 64 Gigs of RAM, this lets her have multiple apps and docs open with little or no lag. 5. Windows 11 PRO. This system covers all the bases. I would wish for a bigger power supply, but this seems adequate. All in all a great build quality. We have been in business for thirty years come February 2024, many many computers have come and gone. The one thing that has become apparent, the equipment that lasts the longest, gets the best return on investment has the name ASUS stamped on it...From Video cards, motherboards, Wireless Routers, RT-AC88U, network adapters, We gravitate to ASUS best bang for the buck. Company policy is to use ASUS where ever possible. This system is a winner. Looking at several more of these for the other execs.

Case is the main downside

Overall the internals are good enough for my gaming. I'm not overwhelming the machine, however, the case makes this PC a pressure cooker. It feels as if there isn't enough cool air able to get in. Especially compared to other cases/PCs I've had. Also needs more fans…

Dear Nero, We certainly understand your disappointment and the inconvenience this may have caused if you are concerned about the system generating excessive heat. The excessive heat under heavy load is normal. Any PC with the same hardware configuration, regardless of the manufacturer, will generate more heat than normal while under heavy load especially during gaming. When system resource utilization is high, this will generate more heat than normal and tends to trigger the fan to spin at full throttle. Please ensure the air ventilation is free from obstructions to have an efficient air flow for better heat dissipation. While gaming, ensure no resource-hungry applications are running in the background, this will spike the temperature. The heat or temperature does decrease or normalizes once system resource utilization goes down.
