Great for touching up scratches and normal ware.

Matches a blue-black finish. Definitely use a couple coats and blend with paper towel. Just know it's not always a perfect color match. Also if wiped down with rubbing alcohol or similar products it will remove the marker, or continued holdstering. Overall great purchase

This pen works Great!!! Just mark the areas that the bluing is damaged let dry I used a wet q-tip to rub off the excess then I used extra fine steel wool for 15 sec and you could not tell where the gun bluing was missing well worth the price and this pen saved me a lot of money.

This stuff works well on small scratches and spots. It leaves a matte finish. If you have a high gloss finish, you'll have to touch up afterwards with something glossy. I like it for the use it is intended.
