I like that it is flexible that you can use it anywhere and there are no contracts the side point that there are no contracts and it's a little more expensive. You burn through data fast.

Worked better than I thought!

Charged it up and within a few minutes it connected to a cell tower and started working. The next day I went out to my RV (under a metal roof) and tried it again. Connected within a few minutes and watched TV for a few minutes to make sure the connection was strong. Worked like a charm. Can't wait to use it on the road.

I bought this as a second Solis hotspot because I've always been pleased with my first. It works as expected, including in a moving car. My issue is with the claim that you receive lifetime global data with this hotspot. I found that to be true with my other Solis device, but upon activating this one, I found no lifetime global data allowance. I contacted Simo and was told that because it wasn't purchased through them, it didn't qualify. Funny, because my other device came from Amazon and qualified. The device is fine, but just don't expect to have any free data included.
