Amazing product
We bought this after aerating, with over seeding a problematic area in our back yard. Our yard is now full and lush. We had to increase the lawn mower height by 1 1/2 inches. The color is phenomenal! We've been using the 4 step program for over 10 years and our front lawn was loved by all. We always recommended the 4 part program. However, when Scots came out with the number 1 for “seeding” we were skeptical, but it works well. We highly recommend this fertilizer.

Buying More
This was an important part in obtaining a green lawn in a problematic region. It doesn't tackle stuff like stiltgrass, but helped control clover, creeping charlie, dandelion and wild strawberry. I actually used this for the whole season (every 6-8 weeks). I don't know how others managed to bleach their lawns with this stuff—the amount if metro in this is so low, you'd really need to substantially over-apply for that to happen.
