Great unit for the price

I bought this unit last season because I wanted to get something with side imaging to scan for structure in open water. That option has been incredibly helpful so far. THAT SAID, I bought this unit understanding that I wasn't getting top of the line clarity on the side scan (this was the only unit I could afford). I use this unit to see where changes in bottom consistency are (rock vs sand vs mud vs weedbeds, etc). For that purpose, it's great. If you're wanting crystal clarity so you can see fine definition of the structure and fish, then I'd suggest saving your money and buying an MSI unit. This unit is perfect for what I want out of it though!

Amazing Fish finder

Definitely need to adjust certain charts, screen resolutions, sounds, etc and it becomes a wonderful fishing tool to help you find schools of fish. Love the different screens you can toggle and cool to see tree branches, stumps, & bottom debris along the way. Highly recommended
