Opaque is not a color. It means it's transparent. Another way to say it is that you can't see through it. So the ad says the color is Blue, and it clearly shows a blue light bulb. The price is right, the bulb works alright, but it's not blue. It's aquamarine! It's more green than blue. I ordered these bulbs to honor our police, military and other law enforcement officers. More and more American patriots are burning the blue bulbs outside of their homes to commemorate "Blue Lives Matter." These bulbs don't send that message. I'd send them back, but my time is worth more than the time it would take to send them back. If you want an inexpensive aqua marine light bulb, this is the bulb for you. Blue? Look somewhere else...
