Warranty information
Bennett Trim Tab systems in the United States carry a five (5) year limited warranty against manufacturing and workmanship defects. Bennett electronics (Tab Position Indicator, Auto Tab Control, Electronic Indicator Control and Auto Tab Retractor) carry a three (3) year limited warranty against manufacturing and workmanship defects.
Please Note: Damage to the trim tabs due to electrolysis and damage to the finish of powder-coated trim tabs are not covered by warranty. Click here to view information regarding protecting your trim tabs from electrolysis. No labor costs of replacement, haulout, or miscellaneous charges are covered. Contacting Bennett Marine first may save considerable time, trouble and expense.
The foregoing is in lieu of any and all other warranties, expressed or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. There are no other warranties which extend beyond that set forth above.
Warranty Return Procedure
For international returns, please refer to our worldwide distributor map to contact your local distributor.
We recommend that you contact us first to troubleshoot your system and determine the best solution. We take great pride in providing the best customer service possible. Simply call 954.427.1400 or send an email to info@BennettTrimTabs.com.
For U.S. Returns only, once we determine the faulty part covered under warranty, return it to Bennett Marine along with our Quick and Easy Product Return Form. Just type in some basic information, click "Print" and include it with your return so that we may expedite your warranty claim.
No pre-authorization number is required but a call to Bennett first regarding warranty or troubleshooting will ensure that you receive the correct parts. Parts covered under warranty will be repaired or replaced without charge. If you have a component in need of warranty replacement simply return it with our Quick and Easy Product Return Form.
