Just a Tad Bit Short of Perfect

No instructions. Eight small screws. BUT, this thing has a spring on it that closes the cover down tightly. Color was perfect. If you are getting one I recommend a mail slot sleeve accessory that encloses the cutout area well. I installed it on an aluminum garage door that has foam insulation. Worked fine and secure. The mail slot cover has a "lip" to help lift it but it is not too convenient when the mail person is wearing gloves. I found and installed a decorative metal knob on the cover that works well to aid its lifting. Please with the construction of the mail slot. Very solid.
