I love this knife holder!! unlike a wooden block, you can SEE the actual knife that you want to select! since I usually buy my knives as a set, of course, they all have the same type of handle! Second, being 2 sided is awesome so as not to overcrowd the blades and risking damage to the cutting edges!! Third, the strong magnetic field is strong enough to hold each blade exactly where you place it, but not overpowering so as to make it difficult to remove the knife that you want. Fourth, the weight of the holder is substantial enough so that you don't risk knocking it over when you accidentally bump into it with something heavy! best knife holder I've ever owned!!
