Nice idea, bad execution

It's meant for kids, but if you buy this for them then YOU will be the one making the xwing. the instructions are easy enough to understand and the pieces are clearly labeled, however the material is some sort of weak cardboard that is both too firm to bend correctly, while also being too weak to not fray at the tabs while you are trying to assemble it. The colors of the ship are nice and bright, and the book has fun trivia and activities for kids.
