The YTX14AHL GEL is a 12V 12AH GEL (Maintenance Free) battery. Requires no addition of water during the life of the battery. The Mighty Max YTX14AHL GEL is a TRUE DEEP CYCLE battery that can be mounted in any position, requires no maintenance. When a Gel Cell battery is charged, no hazardous fumes escape the battery case, gases are processed within the battery itself.

Didn't fit.
The battery does not fit a 2001 Kawasaki Vulcan 500 as the description says. It was about an 1/8th to a 1/4 of an inch to fat to fit in the battery compartment. I took out the plastic liner and stretched the metal cage to make it fit. But had to remove the tool compartment to make it work. I probably should have sent it back but I wanted to get the bike back on the road.
