Excited about the Fixes!

Im a 54 year old male and with age I am becoming more and more intentional about issues regarding my health. There is an immense amount of material and data available but I admit it can become overwhelming. I was recently given a copy of Judith Draughons book 12 Fixes to Healthy and as the sub-title states it is a wellness plan for life. The layout is simple, exceptional, easy to navigate and a treasure trove of information fully relevant to where I am physically and what I long to achieve in my diet in regards to good health. The check lists at the end of several of the chapters are a quick guide and keep the simple things that I need to be doing right there at my fingertips. This book feels as if a healthy lifestyle is doable, enjoyable, and flexible and am looking forward to implementing one fix at a time. If you need just 1 volume for healthy living and a go to guide for your library, this book is it. Will

My healthy life

I think that 12 fixes to healthy is a good book for that is trying to change their diet or to lose weight for I like it because it gave me a better view of the stuff that I was putting in my body and how to change it and what I need to eat within my diet

Excellent!

The author has done a fabulous job in writing this book for guidance to a better, healthier lifestyle! It's the perfect length! The 12 fixes are supported by scientific-based research and each of the 12 chapters correspond to the 12 fixes! Practical, clear and straight-forward to read! Each chapter ends with a short summary, and action plan (which I personally love because it inspires me to integrate them into my life... one at a time, so it's not overwhelming!) You don't have to read it cover-to-cover, but can jump straight into the chapter of interest or that is your current greatest need. Generally, we don't make changes until we have to, but why not care enough about yourself and your loved ones to make small, incremental changes NOW? ----- Hope
