Dosage
Adults and children 12 years and over: take 1 to 3 softgels daily. Children 2 to under 12 years of age: take 1 softgel daily. Children under 2 years: ask a doctor.
Instructions
Take only by mouth. Doses may be taken as a single daily dose or in divided doses. Warnings: Do not use if you are presently taking mineral oil, unless told to do so by a doctor. Ask a doctor before use if you have stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or if you notice a sudden change in bowel habits that lasts over 2 weeks. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.

I need to use this stool softener because I take some other medications that cause me to be constipated. I take three of these daily along with equate laxative tablets for a total of five per day some days I'm a slip in an extra one or two because the day before I got zero results. but generally the combination of these two medications get everything moving and I have no issues

This is a great everyday added supplement along with a little occasional Miralax ..if your like me and you take a lot of meds that cause constipation...But make sure your drinking at least 4-6 water bottles a day for it to work efficiently and effectively

It works and without stomach upset
After surgery it was recommended that I take colace. I figured I’d try the store brand since it was around half the price of the name brand and knowing I’d only need to take this for a few days it seemed like a no brainer. Well, glad I did because it worked and there were no side effects or stomach issues. I also have a very sensitive stomach and a ton of stomach issues, so that is saying a lot. I would definitely recommend this as a comparable alternative to the name brand at a WAY better price.
