BOSS 136 Firestop/Draft Sealant is ideal for use in residential construction in areas that require sealing to maintain the integrity of a firestop. BOSS 136 Firestop/Draft Sealant can be easily applied with a standard caulk gun, pneumatic pumping equipment, or a putty knife. It adheres to virtually any material, including wood, masonry, metal and plastic. It is red in color and applies like conventional caulk. This fireblocking material is a one-part, non combustible, general purpose fire-rated sealant that meets and exceeds the specifications for ASTM E-136 and conforms to all national building codes, including BOCA, CABO, SBCCI, ICBO, NFPA and the 2003 International Building Codes.
