I highly recommend this cord.

This replacement OEM power/data cord fixed my problem and saved me hundreds of dollars. I contacted a service center to bench test my Garmin GPSMAP 545s and was told it's too old and I should buy a new device. He did suggest buying this cord and that's what the issue was. Saved a lot of money.
