I like the design but the quality is second class

I bought 2 of these a year and a half ago to replace an 18 year old (other brand) bathroom lock which look old but worked perfectly. Of the new ones, one of them keeps failing and the second one got me locked inside the bathroom. After disassemble, I notice that a plastic part inside the bolt is preventing the lock from opening all the way. The quality is very poor and I cannot find parts for replacement.
