Figure great, but packaging damaged

I'm sure the figure is great, but the cardboard packaging is terribly damaged. Every corner bent, creased like it was folded in half, and one corner looks like it was left sitting in water and the layers of cardboard are peeling apart. Randomly found and purchased one in-store that was in remarkably great shape a couple of years ago, but my nephew found it and wanted it. I wish I had told him to just wait a couple of weeks and he could have his own, since it looks like someone tried to open it anyway. May order another and return this one.
