Excellent 1/4 GMRS Antenna

This antenna is a 1/4 wave GMRS Antenna that performs extremely well. While not have the range of a large 5/8 wave mobile GMRS antenna, its larger radiation (RF) pattern makes it an excellent choice for use in mountains and hills, or in a suburban or urban environment with obstacles. With this antenna, in good areas, I hit repeaters up to 40 miles away with a 20 watt GMRS mobile radio.
