My prior Shark vacuum dust bin latches seemingly broke on their own from being open for drying after cleaning. Could be built more durable, in my opinion. Replacement dust bin cost 2/3 of original complete vacuum and also had same issues. Using bungee cord to secure dust bin in place.

Nice vacuum but has some issues

This vacuum is GREAT, EXCEPT, it came with the seals letting tiny particles of dirt through so it made me sneeze when I vacuumed. I have made do, and tried to fix the seals myself as the warranty process is a crazy hassle I didn't want to get into. Otherwise it has great features. It is definitely hard to put on thick carpet, even with the release opened. I like the no hair wrap because I have long hair that ends up everywhere
