Just bought it because of the STS switch. (all of my previous headlamps have died because the pushbutton switch fails). Its well made, sturdy, bright, uses easy to find batteries, and LIFETIME Guaranteed. Annual guys fishing trip this weekend at the primitive cabin. I will review again after I use a couple sets of batteries..

I am a blacksmith, I hunt I trap I camp and I can assure you there is no other headlights I would rather have than the inova sts. This light has been dropped countless times used in the rain snow sleet and I have even fallen into the river with it on and use it again seconds after. I have owned mine for about 3 years and I will use it on the trap line again tomorrow morning.

This is a sturdy and well designed headlamp. The light quality is the best I have ever used. There are two light colors - white for brighter needs and red for a softer glow. The white is ideal for dark trails where you require bright illumination. The red is ideal for night use inside a tent or in towns where you just want a soft light on your path. The swipe technology for turning on/off and adjusting the settings is very convenient. The strap is well made and the colors are vibrant. I own the blue, which is really nice.
